Welcome to Srinagar, The Lake City. On arrival at the Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed & received by Tour My India representative/driver. Once you board your vehicle, you will proceed to the houseboat.
After check in, proceed to sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (abode of love), the Chasme Shahi Garden & Shankaracharya Temple.
Later in the evening, proceed for a shikara ride in Dal lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar in a Houseboat.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a day excursion to Gulmarg, the drive past colorful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world, and is also called Meadows of Flowers.
It has the world’s highest golf course (world’s highest), and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing. But the most popular thing to include in the tour package in Kashmir is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels, guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour.
In the evening, return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel.
Srinagar – Excursion to Sonmarg (90 Kms / Approx 03 Hours Drive- One Way)
After breakfast at the houseboat/hotel, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way you can stop at many beautiful spots. Continue driving to Sonamarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh.
In the evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at hotel.
Begin the last day of your tour package for Kashmir with a delish breakfast in your hotel at Srinagar. Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport. Board your flight for respective hub with memorable experiences of Tour My India.
Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
